Fall Family Festival Vendor General Information

ARRIVAL Please report to the Information Center at the Rotary Booth across from the bicycle path before unloading your vehicle. You will be given your parking passes and any last minute information. ALL VEHICLES must be moved immediately after unloading (we have a section set aside for Fair participants). The parking pass will get you free parking and we may ask to see your pass at any time during your loading in or out. Please keep it handy. YOU CANNOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLES ON BIKE PATH! NO EXCEPTIONS!

ALL EVENT PERSONNEL ARE INSTRUCTED TO REPORT VEHICLES NOT PROPERLY PARKED OR NOT DISPLAYING PROPER PASS AND WHICH WILL RESULT IN A VEHICLE BEING TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE!
FESTIVAL DATE November 10-13, 2016
FOOD VENDOR Food vendor spaces are 10’ wide x 20’ deep – no exception. The spaces have 110V electric and water hookup. We only have two spaces with 220V electric hookup. You must be set up by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016 and ready for inspection. The Florida Health Department will inspect you before you can open and the fee is $105 for those that do not have an annual license with them. You must provide a Certificate of Insurance to the City of Apopka. The insurance requirements are listed under the vendor category. It must be mailed to 120 E. Main Street, Apopka, FL 32703. The certificate must be submitted to the City of Apopka. ANY AND ALL questions regarding insurance must be answered by the City of Apopka, Human Resources, 407-703-1805 or emailed to: humanresources@apopka.net.
LICENSING All crafters/vendors/food vendors (profit or non-profit) are required to comply with all Florida Department of Health permits and any and all required licensing.
LOCATION The Fall Family Festival will be held at Kit Land Nelson Park. The grounds are located at 10 S. Forest Avenue, Apopka, FL 32703.
MARKETING Unless you are a FAIR SPONSOR, YOU ARE NOT permitted to engage in marketing anywhere EXCEPT IN YOUR ASSIGNED SPACE. This includes flyers, signage, characters, or any other form of branding.
MONEY COLLECTION All crafters and vendors are responsible for collecting applicable Sales Tax on any collected monies. The Festival Committee will not have facilities for the safe storage of valuables. Security will be on the premises continuously from Friday evening until Sunday evening close.
OPEN TIMES All crafter/vendor sites must be open and staffed on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The evening hours are optional.

SET-UP VENDORS & CRAFTERS: Thursday, November 10th and Friday, November 11, 2016 - 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12th before 9:00 a.m. the latest. NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN THE PARK DURING OPEN FESTIVAL HOURS. IF ANYONE WANTS TO LOAD IN LATE OR LEAVE EARLY, THEY WILL NEED TO CARRY THEIR GEAR TO/FROM THEIR VEHICLE.
SPACE The Fall Family Festival Committee is supplying you with a 10' x 10' (10' X 20' for Food Vendor) site. You must supply any cover, tables, chairs or display materials and they (including tent stays) must fit within the space allowed unless you reserve more than one contiguous space. NO ELECTRIC IS PROVIDED.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT SALE This is a special section in the park for Saturday, November 12th only between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and dusk. Set up is from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. NO EXCEPTIONS. These spaces will be $40 each and no electric will be provided. There will be a limited number of spaces on the interior of the park.
UPGRADES Upon arrival Crafters and Vendors may ask for relocation to a site that is open and available. This will be handled at the Information Center.
